Should I be worried about this?

I got back from the doc yesterday to get results of standard tests. She told me that I had a low white blood cell count (2400 - normal is 4000+). I had just gotten over bronchitis so she said that this was most likely the cause. I asked her to give me an HIV test because of these results. Should I be worried?
