Alien workshop skateboard?

It all depends on your size, and type of terrain you're trying to ride. 7.9 - 8.25 are really good all around boards. i wouldn't recommend going lower than that because it will affect your style. and, also if your board breaks there's no need to buy a whole new complete, you can just buy a new deck, and put your old trucks, wheels, and bearings on the new deck. works just as fine. those will almost always outlast your deck. at your level of skating the type of board you're skating isn't very relevant. as you get better you will figure out what you like, size, shape, company.
