Would you support an amendment to the Constitution which would redefine birthright citizenship?
That is an enigma all of it's own but will have to concede to you on this one. The law as is stays in place for all that enter here legally whether by green card or visitors visa. Only those who seek to take advantage of that law by committing an illegal act would be exempted. If the parent is given a choice to adopt out or take the child home would be an issue for consideration. Either way the parent should be sent home. If the child returns at the age of accountability and wishes to claim the birthright, then that could also be an option. Regardless, the parent should not be rewarded at the expense of the child or our system and must be deported to their place of origin.
