Is it true that Isa(Jesus) practiced the Mosaic Law?

According to Mosaic Law only God can forgive Sin, by presuming to do that himself Jesus was declaring himself to be Gods equal and thus a God himself, this was clear violation of the Commandment forbidding the worship of other Gods. Having taken it on himself to overturn one Biblical Law, and one of the most fundamental ones at that, he'd have had no trouble dumping the rest at as well.
